Garival was primarily incorporated for acting as Canadian sales representatives for GFI Genfare since 1983. The objective is to aggressively promote the line and make it Canada’s number one.

To support the sales efforts, Garival opened, right from the beginning in 1983, a well-structured division devoted to after sales service. Experience has proven that a lack of acceptable after sales service can be detrimental to the promotion of our products. Inversely, a good service becomes an added sales promotional tool. Garival’s objective being increased sales we want to make sure that the customers would benefit from a flawless service.

The potential customer has to feel he will be supported when he buys GFI Genfare’s fareboxes. Good after-sales service is one of the criteria he will take into account when he makes his final choice. Any customer wants to be sure the product he buys will give him trouble free service and, should a problem occur, he needs to know that it will be corrected as soon as possible. He bought the product to produce income and he wants to make sure his investment will remain as profitable as possible despite any problem that might occur.

We have developed a marketing philosophy that has worked well so far: we are omnipresent in the customer’s minds without being pushy. As a consequence, we have won the Canadian transit agencies’ confidence and we now know who will buy, what and when. We want to pursue along this line.

Garival has the proven ability to support the equipment throughout its service life. All commonly used parts are kept in stock at our plant in Laval, Qc and can be shipped quickly upon receipt of your order.
